This happens from time to time.
Some possible causes are:
– when connections get stuck
– when they broadcast incorrect data
– not on the latest version

The easiest ways to deal with this are:
– make sure you are on the latest version
– close the wallet and delete the banlist.dat and peers.dat files (doing this forces your wallet to make new peers)
